RPM Switches*

Start RPM Switch 1- Rpm value at which RPM switch 1 is activated or turned on. There can be a unique value for each sensor state. Be sure to place values in all sensor states if desired. Values must be in 50 RPM increments from 50 - 12,500 RPM.

Stop RPM Switch 1- Rpm value at which RPM switch 1 is deactivated or turned off. Be sure to place values in all sensor states if desired. There can be a unique value for each sensor state. Values must be in 50 RPM increments from 100 - 12,500 RPM.

Start RPM Switch 2- Rpm value at which RPM switch 2 is activated or turned on. There can be a unique value for each sensor state. Be sure to place values in all sensor states if desired. Values must be in 50 RPM increments from 50 - 12,500 RPM.

Stop RPM Switch 2- Rpm value at which RPM switch 2 is deactivated or turned off. Be sure to place values in all sensor states if desired. There can be a unique value for each sensor state. Values must be in 50 RPM increments from 100 - 12,500 RPM.

*Not all ignitions have RPM switch outputs

Example wiring diagram:

Example uses-
Shift indicator light, NOS arming with indicator light, automatic NOS engage, Rev Limit Alarm, Shifter

RPM Switch 1
Start   4500       Stop  5000

RPM Switch 2
Start   5500       Stop  6000

Light illuminates at value entered into RPM start.

Note:  Output for RPM Switch 1 & 2 grounds (goes to negative) when activated. The output has a 50 ohm internal series current limit resistor that can sink 200 milliamps continuously. The outputs can activate a relay for devices requiring higher currents.
